It has been a long day today, hospital appointment this morning, out for lunch this afternoon with friends and then grocery shopping later this afternoon.
The one thing I do enjoy about visiting the hospital is that the art on the walls changes every time I visit.
At the moment the subject is Aboriginal art and here is a selection of the artworks on the corridor from the radiology department and the hospital cafeteria. Tomorrow I will post more Aboriginal art. Hope you enjoy it.
Absolutely brilliant panel in more ways than one Babs, each image beautifully produced and captured in glorious technicalcolor,
bottom left with the sacred colours for the sun, land and desert sand plus the Emu would be my choice but I would love any one of them:)
Oh Babs, this is fabulous. I love Aboriginal art. It’s is a spectacular style. I can’t hrlp myself, I’m always drawn to blue, I love the turtle upper right and the “?” lower left. But each one of them is fabulous.
That is amazing art. I do enjoy seeing aboriginal artwork and your collage shows it off. If I had to pick one to live with, it would be the seahorses and hand but love them all.
@helenhall No these are all new. It is an exhibition prior to NAIDOC week from the 8 to 15 July. (National Aboriginal and Islander Day Observance Committee)
Here are the one I have posted previously and they are on permanent display at the hospital. http://365project.org/onewing/365/2018-02-06
I like this art form especially for the colors. It's a tie for me. I like the seahorses and the turtle on the upper right. Of course it doesn't hurt that the sea/ocean is one of my favorite places to be! Great collage. Hope you're feeling better now.
They're all fabulous individually, and stunning as a collage. What a great idea for the hospital to brighten up the place like this. It's the emu for me.
@olivetreeann I found it very hard to pick a favourite from this selection. I have posted another collage today and the emu one in the second collage is my favorite.
Stunning, love AboriginalArt.
I like the top right,Turtle in blue & orange.

I find it difficult to pick a favourite from these artworks, they are all gorgeous. They look so nice on the walls of the hospital. It really livens up the area.
