I'm back. We have had a lovely trip away and although it is lovely to travel inland for a while I always enjoy getting back to the beach. Who would want to live anywhere else.
It was great to return and find that my Daytime Nighttime photo is on the top twenty, thanks so much for putting it there.
I will fill in some of the gaps over the next couple of days with photos taken while we have been away and will try and catch up with your photos soon.
Tomorrow I have a medical appointment in Newcastle so it may take me a couple of days to get back on track again.
wonderful colours - especially on the shoreline. I've not been around for a couple of weeks so hadn't noticed you missing, but glad you are back and hopefully refreshed.
@helenhall Thanks Helen, we had a lovely time, but I am far from refreshed. I think I am Subaru-lagged, not jet lagged. We have clocked up over 1500 km in the last 6 days.
@30pics4jackiesdiamond Thanks Jackie, sorry to confuse you. I no longer see the UK places in my head any more because we have been here so long, but we do have many places here that are named after their counterparts in the UK. I think they reminded the early settlers of their homeland.
Thought I hadn’t seen anything of you recently, nice to get away, but I can see why you would miss sights like this!
I think I need a day at home now, but that won't happen until Saturday.
