@cutekitty ha ha, now you know where they have travelled to.
@flowerfairyann I have always been fascinated with the Romans too ever since I saw a fabulous book that belonged to my sister. I was too young at the time to be able to read but enjoyed the pictures and once I was old enough to read the book for myself I was hooked for ever more.
@golftragic They have got better in museums and art galleries now because everyone can use their phone to take photos these days. They just insist you don't use flash.
I remember seeing the terracotta soldiers in Sydney years ago and we weren't able to take any photos at all. They wanted to sell the book for $99 and postcards etc.
Yes, the spread of phone photography seems to have broken down some barriers thank goodness. When we were in Europe three years ago all the stately homes, palaces etc were accompanied by a chorus of 'no photos, no photos'. Spoilsports. I managed to sneak a couple, but not many, too many watchdogs. You're right about wanting to sell the book/s and post-cards etc, of course. But I ain't gonna buy them anyway.
