Waiting for the Ferry

For the next few days I am going to post photos taken in Newcastle on Monday.

You can see the ferry just arriving at Stockton to take us across the river to Newcastle.

It only takes a few minutes to cross the river and the ferry runs continuously throughout the day

@robz So many people park at Stockton now and travel to work in Newcastle by ferry. Free parking at Stockton and easier than trying to park in the middle of Newcastle since all the upheaval of the light rail and new building. We only ever park in Newcastle these days if we go there at a weekend because parking is easier then.

This was taken on Monday and even though it is autumn here now in Australia the temperature was 32 degrees c. Turning slightly cooler again now but still pleasant.

@kjarn It was a beautiful day and we had a lovely walk around the centre of Newcastle.
