Believe it or not yet another busy day. I went to tai chi this morning, did a spot of grocery shopping and then home for lunch before going to craft class this afternoon. On my way home from craft I called in at a friends house because she wanted to look at my latest photobook. I have left it with her so she can have a good look.
Thanks so much for putting yesterday's Who Would Believe This is Winter on the TP and the PP.
As you know I don't very often take photos of flowers, but a couple of weeks ago when I was at the Olive Tree Market in Newcastle I saw lots of poppies in Civic Park. We don't usually get poppies this far north because it gets too hot, but as it is winter at the moment here they seem to be growing really well.
I will try and catch up with your photos this evening, but I need a cuppa first before I begin to get dinner ready.
Thanks so much and sorry for the group reply, but I have had a very lazy day today. I woke up with a splitting headache this morning, must have been lying wrong in bed. I just need a new neck, if anyone knows where I can buy one please let me know. Feeling much better this afternoon though.
We don't usually get poppies here, because it is generally too hot for them, but obviously they suit our winter climate.
