We were out this morning looking for street art at Anna Bay and then this afternoon I have been helping David do our tax returns.
There have been a few rude words along the way because every year they change how to do the tax and this year they have 'improved' it.
All is well until you have to switch between my tax return and David's and then they tell you that you have been timed out and have to start again. David managed to retrieve it though. Phew! But not before the air was completely blue.
I haven't looked at today's photos yet, so here is a shot of mangrove roots on the beach taken last week.
I think I need another walk along the beach now to recover from tax fever.
LOL Babs - isn't it such a good idea to not let you submit your tax return until you have put in your partner's taxable income - and he can't put submit his until he's put in your taxable income!!!! And you can only get them as you go to submit!! It's like a real Catch22..... :)
Tax returns are a complete nightmare!! And last year, hubby got a £100 fine because he had almost completed it online, had an urgent phone call come in and forgot he had never pressed "submit"........similarly blue air here at that point!!
Beautiful root system, fascinating to look at.
Oh boy, tax season. It defies description but your adjectives and nouns cover it well. 😊. Wonderful photo of the roots, the photo looks a bit forlorn to me though. I’m sure that is due to your bout of Tax Fever.
A super shot of this fascinating tree and the amazing root system. I hope you have recovered from the online form filling - I'm always suspicious of any system that has been 'improved'!
@robz ha ha, it wasn't a problem when we had to fill in the tax through the ATO because you could open up both mine and David's tax forms at the same time, but now we have to go through myGov you can only do one at a time and as you say you can only do so much of the returns before you have to fill in the other persons tax income. Got there in the end, but that was a waste of an afternoon.
Every person in every country who pays taxes can relate!! The lines in this shot are really fun to look at- zebra stripes and tangled hair are what they make me think of and I like the slightly over-exposed nature of the lighting. Good shot!
Beautiful root system, fascinating to look at.
