Melaleuca - Paper Bark

Sorry I am a bit absent from 365 at the moment, I am having a rather busy week. I hope to catch up this evening and hopefully tomorrow I will have a quiet day too.

I just love the patterns of melaleuca bark, or paper bark as it commonly known, and here is a triptych of the tree bark spotted on my walk a couple of days ago.

These are nice when you really look at them - colour and shapes. In some ways its like the tree has got sunburnt and the bark peels off!
