Going Home by onewing

Going Home

Yesterday I posted a photo of the sand dunes at Birubi Beach, Anna Bay and Margo @s4sayer and Casablanca @casablanca were both expecting to see Lawrence of Arabia in the shot.

Well maybe this could be Lawrence with a couple of his mates on their way home. Either that or it could be the three wise men!

I then remembered that this was taken at Anna Bay and you would be hard pushed to find three wise men in Anna Bay, ha ha, so it must definitely be Lawrence and his mates.

Apologies to anyone from Anna Bay who may be reading this, if you can let me know the names of any wise men in the district I would love to hear from you. ha ha, Only kidding.

Hi @casablanca and @s4sayer How about this photo, could this be Lawrence and a couple of his pals?

@casablanca Ha ha, sorry you choked over your morning tea.
I am assured by a retired policeman friend of ours who used to be a policeman in Anna Bay that there are no residents there by the name of Balthazar, Caspar or Melchior so this is definitely Lawrence and his pals in the picture.

@s4sayer Glad it made you smile Margo.

@taffy @taffy @peadar @777margo @mv_wolfie @bkbinthecity @pcoulson @pusspup @tinley23 @joansmor @pamknowler @ludwigsdiana @louannwarren @mave @rontu @mgmurray @olivetreeann @mittens @mzzhope @haskar @craftymeg @carolmw @gijsje @samae @happypat @seattlite @gilbertwood @pyrrhula @photohoot @bruni Thanks, the camel rides at this beach are a popular attraction. I just love camels.
It was in 1839 that Lieutenant-Colonel George Gawler, second Governor of South Australia, suggested camels should be imported to work in the semi-arid regions of Australia and now we apparently have approximately 1 million feral camels roaming around the outback.

@julzmaioro I do love the camels Julia and never tire of taking photos of them at this beach.

@chimfa At least you have the proof that camels are here Jane.

@beryl Glad they made your day Beryl.

December 15th, 2019
Terrific scene
December 15th, 2019
@onewing LOL - my Dad was a very wise man but he lived on the Gold Coast. That really is a remarkable image to have been taken in Australia. :)

December 20th, 2019
