Sunshine and Shadows

After a few days of pouring rain and chilly weather it is so nice to see the sun again. A lovely day today and 20 degrees c. I much prefer this kind of winter weather.

I have had a busy day today, hair cut this morning then came home had lunch, after lunch made a batch of chicken korma to put in the freezer and then went for a lovely walk on the beach in the sunshine.

I took this shot as I walked along the path from the beach. Just liked the shadows of the fence on the path.

Now I am going to have a nice cup of tea.

@beryl It is a path I walk very often, it leads to our house.

@pcoulson 15 degrees. It only emphasises why I left Yorkshire, ha ha.

@radiogirl Don't think I could cope with -20 degrees.

@golftragic Ha ha, most of our soil is pure sand. We put topsoil in our garden but only a few inches down is sand.
