Following on from the Ring a Ring o' Roses photo posted yesterday I thought I would wander down to Sunset Beach again at Soldiers Point to check out the sunset view.
The colours in this shot only lasted a couple of minutes so I was in the right place at the right time.
This is just a bit further along the same beach from where I took the roses shot. You can see why it is called Sunset Beach.

This was one of those really lucky shots. I thought I would drive down to Soldiers Point to see the sunset at the last minute. When I got there I saw this scene, took two photos and then the moment had passed and the sky changed colour. Definitely a right place right time scene. The pelican just sailed into the scene at the right moment.
