It has been a long day today, I had a doctors appointment and tests today and David had an opticians appointment because he needs new glasses. Then I had grocery shopping and to pick up prescriptions. It has turned so cold here today so I will be rugged up in front of the woodburner fire tonight. There has been snow on the Barrington Tops which is about 130 km from here. We don't get snow here luckily but the cold air filters down to us which is why it has turned so chilly.
This is the last of my Oakvale photos now hope you have enjoyed them.
I was amazed just how pink this gorgeous galah was. Usually they are a much paler pink, but this one was such a deep pink colour and looks beautiful.
@casablanca delightful and snow shouldn't be in the same sentence. I haven't seen snow for 35 years and luckily I don't have to see it now either. Temperature has dropped to 8 degrees c tonight and that is far too cold for me.
@kjarn Awful isn't it. I can't cope with cold. Luckily we have a woodburner and it is cosy here tonight
That is one beautiful bird- and I'm not usually into pink! smile Great shot! And stay warm. I wish I could send some of our unusual June heat your way.
I do love your galah shot. Hope all is okay with your tests. I'm beginning to feel like a pincushion - Covid jab, osteoporosis injection, flu needle - and the 2nd Covid due in a few weeks!
