Crossing the Channel by onewing

Crossing the Channel

I am still a bit busy at the moment with lots of projects on the go so will catch up when I can.

Here is another shot from Fingal Bay. We had to have a bit of a paddle crossing the channel from the storm water drain at the beach.

Posting a bit early today as I have a busy day ahead.
This gave me a chuckle as it reminded me of the time that I walked across one of these channels when on a hike and it was much deeper than it looked, down I went!

Lovely shot and ripples.
The last time I saw one of these, I had to take a long walk around it! It was very small on the way there, but was huge when we came back an hour later ;-)

I love spotting these little channels on beaches. Makes me think a giant made a sandcastle and wanted to fill his moat

You must have wet your feet to cross that channel. But it should have been part of the fun. I like the ripples of the water as it streaks down to the sea.

Great little channel :)

I hope the water wasn't too cold!

@kjarn Ha ha oops!

@ludwigsdiana Oh dear, I would have had a long walk round too because the land end of the channel was leading into bushland. It was easier to get wet feet.

@casablanca What a lovely idea, I would have loved to come across the giant making a sandcastle.

@sangwann I did get wet feet but they dried quickly in the sun

@pusspup It was freezing.

@mittens The tide was coming in so the water was flowing both ways.

@busylady We are so lucky to have so many gorgeous beaches close to where I live. The water is still a bit chilly though at the moment.
