Things are starting to get a little stressful at work! Its typical in my line of work and it usually comes in waves! When its good its good...that's what keeps me going in this career!
Sights like this are such a gift for the eyes and soul. It does wonders to stop for a moment and get to the ocean and take a deep breath!

the whole picture is fabulous but my favorite part of the picture is at the very bottom, where the small river of ocean water flows to a peak. there's small sections of foam flowing around the small dome of sand...it matches up/positively complements the rays of sunlight :)

Stunning, gorgeous shot. I know the feeling - I have worked harder in the last six months than I did in the two previous years combined. That's why I escaped to Tulum for a week - desperately needed to recharge my batteries!

I just went through a very stressful time of myself and, honestly, I found this site to be a great stress reliever. Fav, not only for the fab picture but because i needed to be reminded to breathe after my last couple of weeks, my closest ocean is an hour or so away so this is lovely.
boy jerry that was a good question - i had to step away and think..........for me it is when i get around big old trees like cottonwoods and elephants - good question - at least for me - i kind of a very crazy - intence - person - always - always searching.......... this IS a beautiful shot

jerry i am about to upgrade to a canon 7d. Is there a lens you would recommend? i am just debating whether i should just buy the body and continue using my lens, or a body and lens pkg. Do you have any suggestions or opinions :) ??
@kdimagery Wow! How exciting! You are going to love that camera! I don't know how much help I can be with the lens decision but I bought the kit and used the kit lens for all my shots. It's a great lens. Now that I have so much more experience, I'm ready for something more! I have a canon 10-22mm wide angle (which I love!), a canon 100mm macro (I love that lens too!), and the kit lens. If you look back on my 1st year, most of the shots were with the kit lens! It's a great walk around lens when you can't lug around your whole kit! I hope I helped a little and not confused you more! :)
