What is this thing!?

I haven't seen a phone booth since college! :o) I went out to the art show at the Embarcadero in SD to see @beachradish's booth! As I was walking along the bay I saw this peculiar booth!

@pflaume I use Topaz B&W for my B&W conversions but added the texture and some processing in PS
