Photography has been part of my life forever, but for many of the years I only had time for family snapshots. Before I retired I had the opportunity to travel to several Asian countries regularly. So I joined 365 in 2012 and completed my year of photos. My participation after that was too sporadic, so my 365 album was deleted.

This time around I’m doing the 365, but also selecting my best shots from 2012/2013 and adding them to a second album. I like the daily discipline that participation brings. I carry my camera or phone everywhere I go. That also is helping me learn how to use my new mirrorless. It’s an amazing device. I love seeing their photos and connecting with people from around the world.

My wife and I live in a historic gold mining town in the Sierra Nevada foothills of California.
