Bonfire and fireworks

At the Porthmadog Football Club. First the bonfire and when that was blazing, everybody moved on to look at the fireworks. In the picture, on the righthand side, you can see it had just started. Parents and children cheering with each bang and shower of colour and light.

Why? Copied from Wikipedia: Fawkes became synonymous with the Gunpowder Plot, which has been commemorated in England since 5 November 1605. His effigy is burned on a bonfire, often accompanied by a firework display.
Stunning shot this with that huge fire and the people on the right!
