30 Days Wild - Day 6

Near the stream we saw this gannet. He looked lost and is probably injured. We couldn't come close to it, he started hissing furiously, but it didn't fly away either. We left it, so it didn't get too stressed.

Goodness - what an amazing opportunity. They are normally right out at sea. You were wise not to get too close - those beaks stun prey at 70mph downward dive - and are not to be messed with! I hope it recovered.
