Normally I try to take photo's of the children as natural as possible without interfering. When I do set it up, I keep it short and playful so that they won't feel forced into it. The thing now is, that they have their own ideas which are way more important then their mums' idea. So I only had three of above type of shots (with which I wasn't fully pleased with) and then they wanted me to photograph how they wanted to be photographed.
They look like they are trying so hard to follow instructions and look straight ahead. I wonder if in your three shots they each had to take a turn at being in the first place. A line-up of three lovely children.
Can't add much to what has been said.. Don't see that anyone has mentioned how lovely that you chose black & white for this shot. And you did catch such good expressions. By the way, in your tag you have bw-s...what does that mean?
@granagringa thank you. The tag is for own reference. After several years here, it's not easy to browse back in your album, so I try to tag as it's easier to find things.
