This is taken from the old moat at Hertford Castle, no people just me and a moment of tranquility. Loved the way the sun was shining through the trees, it is so low even at mid day.
It does have a very tranquil feel to it, and I had forgotten that there was a castle in Hertford. I do remember a very good pub tho - the white horse I think it was called - the fruit wines were very potent if I remember rightly! hic!
Yes @judithg They called them 'country wines' the strawberry one tasted like watered down strawberry jam but was about 15% proof. I could tell you a tale about when my normally non-drinking Auntie Ethel came to stay and had some, but this isn't really the time or place......
Lovely to be all on your own & you can mess about with camera , bending down & doing odd shots that make you look strange...this is a beautiful place & view.
