We had some friends around the other night for dinner and could not understand about my excitement about the bunch of flowers for Mr's P. She on the other hand knew what would happen!!! They also brought a great bottle of wine but we drank that. So tripod, macro and extension tubes were out and what a way to spend time on a grey day.
Are these astromeirias? They have beautiful inner leaves and very photogenic stamens! I used to take a lot of flower photos in my early days, but seem to have neglected them recently.. this has spurred me on to revisit them! Perfect focus on the stamens, nice and crisp, well done!
Love alstromerias they come in such a lovely array of colours. My family also know me and my photography addiction well and can always read my train of thought!!
