Went to the London Ice Sculpting Festival at Canary Wharf today. Have to say it wasn't easy to find. Anyway this is the Canadian entry working hard on their entry for the River Life Competition. They had 2.5hrs to turn a huge block of ice into something that met the criteria and must say they all did a good job. See other picture on my other album for a nearly finished article.
I wonder if I could find an inanimate object which I could have a go at with a chainsaw!!!!! @steampowered where are you!!!!!!
You are naughty but I like you!!!!
This is very clever carving & I love the way you have the ice bits flying! That job would be no good for me with my Reynauds disease.
Ooooh bet it was spectacular - you've captured the excitement here all right! (At first I wondered what on earth it was ... I could see a bird's head and an explosion of something and wondered what on earth had you done to that poor creature! Glad that Snapchap hasn't led you astray after all!)
Wow....I find this so amazing. Creative can make something out of anything! It's always so sad that such a work of art melts away. Having of photo of it keeps it forever though.
