Alban Way as I like it!! by padlock

Alban Way as I like it!!

This is my favourite training ride along the Alban Way from Welwyn Garden City to St Albans. Once a railway it does have a gradient but not to much to cause trouble as you push along the miles. As you can see it is very quiet in the week and enjoyable. I use it to go to and from St Albans, then back to WGC, then home a round trip of about 30 miles which is a good way to get me back on the bike and into the distance groove.
the call of the empty pathway looks very tempting, enjoy your cycling

@killeen Hi David, agree it is easy to cycle on this when it is so quiet.

It looks smashing. Where I live everything is downhill (so that means uphill on the way back when I am at my most tired!)

30 miles sounds like a fairly good ride! We did 48 km on one of our cycling trail days in NZ - that was plenty for me!

@busylady problem is I need to build it up to 100km.

It's very pleasing to the eye seeing such a long path going as far as the eye can see :)
