Yes dear I will make sure they chew it properly!!

Wonderful warm day and it took me a while to get both parents on the top of the urn. This is the second brood that we have had in the urn this year and we are not sure of it is the same pair or another pair. really hard to sit in warm garden with a cold drink taking photos of the great tits!!
My only concern is that their activity is coming to the attention of the magpies and jackdaws, who cannot get into the nest but sit on top of the urn preventing the parents from feeding the chicks.

Lovely shot and great to get both parents! Naughty magpies & jackdaws. It's such a shame that they prey on these sweet little birds but that's nature for you/!
