Decided to get out and about so Mr's P and I headed for these fishing lakes. Managed to find a path near to the lake and spotted this heron on a small island. Have cropped the shot but managed to get fairly close before the bird decided enough was enough and flew of to perch elsewhere.
Very nice! The background works well as well injecting a little colour. I definitely think the extender on the 7D could be interesting - hopefully you are out at this very moment trying it out (12.04pm!!)
