Wow what a day never had so many sightings or good shots of a Kingfisher since I set out to photo them. This site has been visited by myself and @pixiemac many a time. We have often seen the two Kingfishers flying and chasing this is the first time we have managed to capture a shot of the other bird. A young male, no idea what he has caught nor did we use the bowl behind him as a bait trap. What made the day even more intriguing is that Sarah had the two Kingfishers in her sight when I saw another one shoot into a bush so there could be three in this vicinity. Sheer wildlife photography bliss.
I still can't decide what he 'caught' but it certainly didn't look fishy. As you say, a stunning day both seeing and hearing the kingfishers. Incredible how 5 hours can vanish so quickly ..... as for there being 3 together, superb. Thanks for your company Clive
