20th January 2015 - Frozen bubbles

Week two of macro for our Mentoring group - this weeks theme - Nature.

I have been in the garden this morning and following a very cold night the bird bath was frozen. When I looked closely it was full of frozen air bubbles. I gave it a red filter which made a more pleasing image I thought.

Many thanks for your lovely comments on yesterday's doggy shots - much appreciated!!
@taffy @newbank @888rachel @golftragic I have started this weeks theme of Nature. No insects around at the moment so when i saw frost I thought I would have a go. Please don't worry about commenting as I know you are all very busy!!

Oh wow, that's a very clever shot Pam, and I like it very much. The shapes and toning are very appealing and the composition works well with those cracks positioned there.
