A wonderful morning with Sarah @pixiemac in the kingfisher hide. A long wait before this lovely male showed his face. He was all alone but he was wonderful to watch flying into one of the nests and then sitting on a branch cleaning and preening himself for ages. He finally flew along to a branch and proceeded to dive in and out of the water. Sadly just too far for me to get any good captures. Hopefully Sarah with her longer lens and crop camera will be able to get better captures.
I have added a Nature texture in Topaz to this image as it brought out the detail of his feathers. Best on black if you have time.

@pixiemac this is the best flight shot I managed to get but it needed a little tweaking in LR and Topaz to bring out the detail. What a lovely morning!!
