In the fabulous butterfly house in Chicago. I think this is a moth and it was the size of a dinner plate!! Luckily for me it did not move. I was taking a shot of some tiny butterflies when I looked up above my head and there it was. WOW!!
The background was a bit messy so I took it into Topaz Texture Effects and had a play. I was pleased with the final effect - hope you like it.

Today is my 65th birthday and I have had a lovely day with lots of birthday cards and pressies. I was taken out to lunch with my sister and dear friend Amanda. I now cannot move!! LOL!! What a lovely day!! Back to the diet tomorrow!!

Gorgeous! And I concur... it WAS the size of a large plate! I love what you did with this image; it's beautiful and you brought it to the spotlight by removing the busy background! Nicely done!
