2017 02 05 - Over the Bridge

Our walk this morning took us to a different country park but we could not find anywhere to park as there was a cross country race going on. This was the second park we tried and Finlay enjoyed himself as we met lots of different dogs. He loves to say hello however many of them just walk past with their noses in the air. It's funny as I find the owners of those dogs often do the same and cannot even smile and say hello or good morning!! I always say hello and good morning again after we have passed to make sure they heard me!! So rude and unfriendly!!

For Flash of Red February. Another fisheye image.

Many thanks for your great comments on yesterday's images - so very much appreciated!!
Love the angles....and the happy dog too...

Great pov and processing

Nice POV and great processing, Finlay could so easily be blown out but you always manage to retain the detail.

Cool composition! Is this fish-eye? Great comment too, so funny (but not really) that the dogs imitate their owners snobbish ways!

@lynnz Thanks Lynn. Yes I should have said both of todays shots are with the fisheye lens. I put it on the camera as I thought we were going to a park with tall trees and I wanted a shot looking upwards. This park only has low hedges but I made use of the fisheye anyway.

Whenever I am on a walk, I make a point of greeting everyone I pass. I get a good laugh out of some of the startled reactions. I also get pissed off when someone gets in first and greets me before I can greet them.

I really like this Fav I know what you mean by people who don't speak and it doesn't cost anything to smile and say hello. It's their loss

How anyone could ignore Finlay is beyond me! I like what you've been doing with your fisheye -- it inspired me to take mine out for the day today.

I like this distortion, it feels like I'm looking down from a great height.
