I had lunch today with Rosie @rosiekind and afterwards we went for a walk along the lane beside the river. Looking over a fence we saw a couple of goats in someone's huge garden. This one was on a branch of a tree and was peeping at us round the tree.
For my Flash of Red February - best on black of course!!
Many thanks for your wonderful comments on yesterday's shots - Finlay was on the PP this morning which was lovely to see. I appreciated all your helpful and encouraging remarks about me putting petrol in my Diesel car!!
Oh gosh, I just smiled as I read this comparing what you saw on your way back (very very cute goat!) with what Andie @ukandie1 and I saw on our way to catch the Green Line to our homes!
@stray_shooter No Ron, I'm not going to partake in Goat-Day...
Pam, I can't get over that this one was in a tree, looking at you! (Farm-boy Ken says it's not that unusual...) Such a cute image, and what a delightful array of markings he has!
@stray_shooter It's their very strange eyes that make them look odd I think. @Weezilou I think I have seen a program on goats that climb trees - I think it was in the Middle East or Africa and the goats were all ver the tree - amazing!!
@pamknowler@Weezilou Morocco, I think, is the location of the goats you are thinking of. I remember seeing some television program featuring them. Here's a link to a page that describes them - along with some crazy photos. May have to make a trip to Morocco some time.....
