I took this while on holiday with Louise and Ken at Liverpool, Nova Scotia. I noticed the bushes were full of bees and they were acting very strangely. They were rubbing themselves in the nectar of the plant as if in ecstasy - never seen this before. They were covered in the pollen.
I do think the bees get drunk on the pollen. They wallow in it then they are too heavy to fly off. This is a beautiful flower and loop legged bee. Smile. Fav!
