My sister's back is still bad and I think the strong pain killers are knocking her out! She stayed in bed again for most of the day but did finally get up and get dressed and come downstairs this afternoon which was promising!! I didn't give her the pain killers which I think made the difference!!
I therefore managed to get out with Finlay for a walk and as we have only been going round the block the last few days I decided to take a quick walk in the country park. Rain was threatening and there were no other people about but Finlay had a lovely time sniffing every leaf and blade of grass!! Got back home in time to make coffee for Barbara. I have told her she needs to get better for George's arrival in a couple of weeks!!
This shot with my iPhone was a bit bland so I took it into Nik colour Efex.
Just beautiful, Pam! Love your processing. So sorry your sister is having back pain. Oh dear. Hope she gets better soon! This photo is certainly a fav for me.
Lovely painterly scene and your chosen settings do it proud. Its important to keep that back moving in someway or another - or it stiffens up and becomes more painful. The pain killers help with this.
I really like that russet colour grass in the water. It would look great with an insect on it :) Sorry to hear about Barbara's back. I hope it gets better soon.
Oh dear, so sorry to hear Barb's back is playing up, that can be so very painful. I love the way you've processed this shot, it all looks so quintessentially English, or what I imagine to be that. Lovely colours too.
@bulldog exactly what I thought!
