I'm a big boy now!

For Flash of Red February 2018

A busy day today at the hospital for my sister's checkup so I am uploading some from yesterday at Castle Ashby.

I thought George needed to be in my monthly B&W view. Here he is now 4 months old and growing by the day!! He loved being off lead in the woods. Such a good boy with his recall - I am so pleased with him. He loves to meet people and other dogs - he is very sociable just like Finlay.

Best on black of course!!

On the house training front there has been a great improvement with two clean nights and he has done his business in the garden or on our walks. I seem to be spending most of my time in the garden with him in the freezing cold saying "be quick" and "good boy" but it seems to be paying off. TMI I know but just wanted to record it here to show how the training is progressing.

Many thanks for your wonderful comments on yesterday's images - so pleased you liked them!!
It sounds like you are a great dog trainer, and it is paying off for you. He really is a cutie.

He’s so alert and cute too! On his lineage, is he related to Finlay?

@louannwarren Finlay’s mum is George’s grandmother. Related through the female line. Both my gorgeous boys!

@casablanca I had to pop out before we were due to leave for the hospital and when I got back my sister had cancelled her appointment!! She had tried to start her car and it was dead so she phoned and cancelled even though we were going in my car!! No I don't understand either!! Anyway we called the AA and she needed a new battery. She has a beautiful car she very rarely drives as she prefers me to drive in my car. Help!!

@pamknowler Ha ha ha, oh that is completely bonkers!! My teenager just popped his head round the door and said "what are you laughing at?" Sometimes life makes no sense at all, eh?
