Duckpool by pamknowler

Duckpool

A lovey day starting with a misty drive to Bude where we picked up the most delicious Cornish Pasties for our lunch. Then we went to our favourite little spot which is a small bay called Duckpool. There is a small stream which runs down to the sea and when the tide is in the beach is made up of large stones. When the tide goes out it is sandy with lots of rock pools which are great fun to investigate. We had a walk and George went into the stream and suddenly found himself swimming. He loved it!! A lovely picnic in the sunshine before we left for a great drive through the Coombe Valley and back home to Instow.

Many thanks for your lovely comments on my shots of Molly and Mary Jane - we had lots of fun and will be seeing them again on Thursday.

I love everything about this - the cliff, the clouds, the water, the big boulder in front and the colorful flowers. Great capture! fav
