half and half - Cotinus

Well that's what my sister says it's called. I always call it the red plant with gorgeous leaves when backlit by the sun!! LOL!!

It looks very similar to what we have in France...known as Cotinia. Not the same blossom, yet the leaves are that rich cardinal red that you have captured so dramatically.
