I didn't go out today as my knee is still playing up. Just sorting through my holiday pics and thought I would share a few more.
This is the bridleway from the farmhouse leading down into the valley. We had a few people on horses ride past and a cyclist flew by every evening. It was a good walk for us to take the boys as there were no cows in these fields although there were some sheep on the first day. Luckily they had moved into fields further away so we could take the boys off lead. They both loved running in the long grass.
In the top RH corner you may be able to see a ruin. I believe this is an old lead mine.
