Christmas morning and the day started with some wonderful sunshine. This is the view from our house across the river to Appledore. At midnight on Christmas Eve the bells of the church rang out for half an hour - so beautiful! The wind had gone and it was a wonderful day.
It's raining and gale force winds today and even the dogs are not keen to go out into the garden.
