What a fabulous day it has been today!! Sunshine from early morning, no wind and very mild. This is better than some of our days in the summer!! LOL!!
After our walk on our beach we went out for a drive down the coast to our favourite little bay - Duckpool. It's a very narrow road down to the car park - lots of reversing when you come face to face with another car!! A river flows down the Coombe Valley into the sea here and there is a lovey pool at the back of the beach where the boys love to paddle. You have to clamber over rocks to get to the flat sand when the tide is out. I don't do this any more - my nimble days are over sadly. We had a lovely picnic and made the most of the sunshine.

@s4sayer we live in the East Midlands and are as far from the beach as you can get - in every direction! That’s why we so enjoy our holidays visiting my niece in Devon. Good excuse to be beside the seaside!
