George has a new harness which I am hoping will help to stop him pulling so much when on the lead. Here he is with it on for the first time - sulking!! He is actually fine with it and thankfully it is easy to get on and off. Now about that pulling......!!
A friend of mine occasionally looks after her neighbours dog when they are away (well before Covid she did). Anyway Tin Tin, the dog, used to always pull on the lead when she took him out for a walk. The neighbour said that she had never been able to stop Tin Tin from pulling but then one weekend when my pal had the dog for the weekend she though she would fix him. She took a spray water bottle with her and every time Tin Tin pulled on the lead she squirted water in his face. The next day when she took him out again she took the bottle just in case but he behaved perfectly and has never tugged since. She didn't dare tell her neighbour how she fixed him in case she got offended.
Aren’t they funny....he knows he feels differs & why should I wear one one Finley doesn’t he’s probably thinking! I hope it’s a great success. Lovely room!
Good luck Pam. If that one doesn't work see if you can find a Halti, will explain if you get to that point. I had a dog that pulled like a Clydesdale and a Halti stopped her.
