Chicago 2016 - a 365 meet-up - the start of some wonderful friendships!!
This morning Face Book brought up a memory of my Chicago holiday and it made me want to go back and look once again at the many images I took during my first visit to that wonderful city.
We are on the 96th floor of the Hancock Building here watching the sun set over the city and Lake Michigan. Such fabulous views in every direction and so different in every shot as the light changed.
What a fabulous meet-up we had and made so welcome by Chicago's best photographer - Taffy @taffy !! We were taken to all the best places to get photos!! Wonderful memories!!
Oh Pam, this is beautiful! I thought it was one of Taffy's when I saw it in my news feed. Chicago does look such a glorious city. Would love to visit sometime.
Yes I remember getting out of the lift and couldn't believe my eyes when I looked around. Such stunning views and we had a fantastic time. You have made me want to go back too! I entered a similar shot in our Camera Club competition.
Stunning view. I hope that once you took the elevator down to the ground floor you went across the street to the world's very best pizza, Gino's East. Oh, man, my mouth is watering just thinking about it!
