Last day of Year 8 by pamknowler

Last day of Year 8

Last week my nephew Colin popped round to the front door and handed over two bunches of flowers - one for his mum and one for me. When we sorted the flowers it was obvious one bunch was on it's way out and the other lovely and fresh. Colin obviously didn't look very closely!! Anyway we sorted the flowers and made one beautiful arrangement and left over were the red flowers and a strange looking cabbage. The watering can was sitting outside the door so I pushed the flowers in and put them on the garden wall. Well this was a week ago and you can see how the red flowers revived - they obviously like the freezing cold weather out there!!

Last image for year 8 - wow where has the time gone? I have many gaps this year but not letting it stress me. Will I carry on with 365? Yes I think so - I just love seeing all your fabulous images and most of all I love the friendship. See you on the other side!! Here's to a healthy happy New Year - and good riddance to 2020!!
They look lovely. Congratulations on completing 7 years! Doesn’t time fly?!

Your flowers look charming in the watering can Pam. Men aren’t good at these things are they but better than you thought at the time!
Glad you are continuing....how can we ever not see & look at what our friends are doing! A very Happy New Year!

Let's hope they are a metaphor for 2021!!! That all good things come to life, despite harsh conditions. All the best for a good start to 2021.
