Looking out of my lounge window this morning I couldn't help but notice the fabulous changing colours of this hydrangea. Soon all the leaves will have fallen and the flowers will turn to brown. A shrub for all seasons.
Update on George: I took him to the vet again yesterday morning for a checkup. She is very pleased with his progress and says the cut is healing nicely. She thinks the stitch will fall out by itself. Back again on Friday for hopefully the final check. I have to watch him carefully as he can reach his eye wearing the blow up collar but it is worth it as he is not stressed by it . He refuses to eat any food with the anti inflammatory drops so I have stopped trying. I am managing to get the antibiotics down him disguised as cheese.
Many thanks to you all for your lovely comments about the death of my cousin. I was touched by them all.
Good news, bad news. But your picture is lovely! I am so glad that George is on the mend. Our babies mean the world to us. And your cousin - I am so, so sorry. Cousins are a part of who we are and it hurts so much to lose them. I am glad his family was able to be there with him. It is just so hard. My heart is with you, Pam.
Good news re George….I’m glad he is progressing well & might soon be able to take the collar off!
Hydrangeas are great value for money as they even look lovely dead!
