I used a black perspex board for this reflection. Sometimes I use a mirror with black card stuck on the wall but with a mirror you sometimes get ghosting on the reflection. The perspex gives a much better one. I shone a torch onto the leek from behind and made sure I had a reflection. You just have to make sure what else is in your shot round the edges - In this case the feet of the perspex stand showed up so I had to clone them out. I always take my shots into PS to clean them up - there are always dust marks on the mirror and perspex and I have to clone them out. I also lightened the reflection a bit in LR. As I shoot in Raw all the detail is there. Hope this makes sense.
@rwhite@wildernesswillie@gozoinklings@megmills@kklickr@kjarn Thank you so much for your lovely comments!! @megmills Meg just to let you know the leek also smells like an onion so this was a very smelly photoshoot!! LOL!! They have a strong smell but not the strong taste of an onion - leek and potato soup - wonderful!!
Many thanks to all of you for your great comments - always appreciated!!
