This is a young Golgfinch sitting on top of the bird feeder. His back has the bright yellow colours but no red face yet - I am not sure when that appears.
Todays topic was Cream Tea but as I did not want to eat the props yet again I have gone for the bird as todays shot.

@phillchilton Yes it's heavy Phill but the quality of the shots is great!! You can get frame filled shots of little birds which i love!! I love this lens and most of my shots are hand held as I find it a bit much to carry the lens plus the tripod around. Mind you I am not a strong young man like you!! LOL!!
