2nd July 2013 Marbled White

Topic of the day - Fragile (Bokeh)

(I know we all say it but it does look better large against black)

This is a Marbled White butterfly and I think there is nothing more fragile than the wings on a butterfly. I quite like the bokeh too!!

Well, I sure say "view large/on black" alot! haha I think the bug macro people need to. When I viewed this on black, not only did the butterfly still look so pretty, but the weed in the background was more noticeable. This is a lovely pic! Congrats on the PP!

@pamknowler Hi Pam, no I haven't been on holiday just very busy. Did a wedding shoot for friends who didn't like their first wedding photos from 2 years ago so that was a full day starting out before 6am and spending the whole day with them. Watched the men's semi finals from Wimbledon all through the night and so caught up on sleep Saturday morning, Sunday spent the day with friends in Blue Mountains as they are returning to live in England next week so am feeling sad about that. Then Men's Tennis finals overnight. Monday and Tuesday sorting out photos for a competition I am doing this weekend and editing some photos from the shoot and now sorting out photos for our camera club meeting next week. Phew....
