After reading up on abstract and looking at lots of wonderful abstract photos I have now decided to go for shapes. I have also done this one in B&W and I will upload that to see what you think.

4th April - just woken up after very bad night to find this on the PP! Wow that's a surprise as it didn't get on the trending page . So thrilled to see this shot there as I gave it a lot of thought and it turned out better than I anticipated! Thank you all so much for your great support which got it there!
It's quite interesting to see how different the exact shapes end up looking in each of these abstracts. In this one, it's all about joy and color and, to me, totally upbeat. In the b&w it's all about form, totally about the curves and the shades of gray that emphasize the curves. Thanks for posting both!
@taffy Good analysis, Taffy. I react differently to the two images, and like the color version best. In the B&W version I notice texture I don't see here, but the color is a real grabber that overshadows form.

I put a lot of thought into this abstract so am very pleased you like it!
Love t he colors, lighting and shadows! All that research paid off! Beautiful shot! I am off to look for the bw version now. Congrats on PP. Not sure what happened last night, but hope all is better now!!
