22nd August 2013 Beautiful in death

My sunflowers are still giving me shots even while decaying. I think they are still beautifuI. I have put the heads out to dry off for the birds but they have taken no interest so far.

I have been waiting for my cut sunflowers to decay so I could get a photo like yours, but I came home from work today to find he had composted them. I went to retrieve them from the compost bin but he had cut them up into small pieces! Perhaps I should take a photo of the bits?

@shepherdmanswife Oh no!! The best laid plans eh!! It's the fact that he cut them up into little pieces - can you believe it!! I think that would have been a very funny shot!!
