This house is near where my sister lives and I drive past on my way there. Every year the chap who owns the house starts to put up his lights and decorations in October. The lights were switched on for the first time this year on the 1st December. Lots of people bring their children round to see the lights and there is a donation box and it all goes to a charity called Crazy Hats which supports breast cancer. I wouldn't like his electricity bill!!
As long as all the visitors don't peer into the windows too. We have a similarly decorated house near here but it can't quite compete with this and only starts on Dec 1st.
@lucypics It was on the local news last year and they interviewed the man who lived oposite this house. There were lots of bleeps as he spoke!! He was not very happy about all the cars which came round and parked outside his house!!
Can you imagine living next door to all that light? I'd have to sleep with something over my eyes! Nice that he donates money to breast cancer! A worthy cause!
Wow, that's one seriously decorated house. The municipality has been putting up our street light decorations this week so I shall see if I can get a picture. Won't be anything as fancy as this though!
