Just beautiful, love how you can see the crinkles in the petals and the black background sets it off perfectly. Fav. Ps How did you get the black background, I don't seem to be able to do this!!!!
@paulaw Thanks Paula. I am shooting into the sun and the background is dark green which looks almost black. I always check my backgorunds and make sure I use a shallow dof to throw it out of focus. Check my exif info for my settings. Taken with my 100mm macro lens which I love. You don't always have to take macro shots with it.
Beautiful shot! I love the way you used the light and created this image of a so fragile looking poppy. As for poppy shots, I love using them as well. Such lovely flowers!
