Mrs Blackbird was extremely busy today. She has managed to dig all the plants out of the basket and throw them out. She has then dug her way through all the compost in the basket and when she had a mouthful she flew off to her nest. I know there are lots of tiny roots in her beak and maybe little insects. Not exactly sure what she was doing with all the roots she took - making her nest maybe?
I now have to go out and sweep up all the mess she has made!! LOL!!
Looking at your Mrs Blackbird I do feel that the photo I took of hubby with a bird on his hand after a rescue was a blackbird and not a thrush!. (not posted on 365)
